A mineral product based on red volcanic lapilli, with a grain size of 10–15 mm particularly suited for mulching, with a pleasant appearance and excellent functional value. It also prevents the growth of weeds. Its chemical composition makes it stable over time, thus forming a very durable mulch. Due to its physical properties, Vigorplant Vulcan Decor Red is ideal for mulching sloping areas or areas subject to heavy rain. With its red colour, special colour effects can be created in planted areas, enhancing the garden decoration. Mixed with potting soils, Vulcan Decor Red improves permeability, ensures quick drainage, and increases soil stability.

PREVENTING THE GROWTH OF WEEDS

To work effectively against weeds, we recommend applying a uniform layer of Vigorplant Vulcan Decor Red of at least 7-8 cm on well-weeded soil, that must be clean of any impurities.

It is a product whose chemical/physical characteristics do not change over time, always maintaining high levels of mulching.
