This inert medium, a specific type of expanded volcanic rock, has a high, stable porosity that is ideal for guaranteeing aeration and excellent drainage. Obtained via a thermal expansion process, the addition of Vigorplant Perlite to substrates improves oxygenation of the root system while guaranteeing stability over time and the highest performance due to the 2–6 mm grain size. It is ideal for mixing with potting soil (10% to 40%), but it is important that this be done as uniformly as possible to prevent the plants from growing unevenly. The practical 5-L format with handle also meets consumer needs with respect to the amount used and dosages.
